A FINE DIESEL FUEL MADE FROM PLASTIC SHOPPING BAGS
Researchers report, that plastic shopping bags being an abundant source of litter on land and at sea, can be converted into diesel, natural gas and other useful petroleum products. The conversion gives more energy than it requires and results in transport fuels-diesel, which can be blended with existing ultra-low sulfur diesels and biodiesels.
A report of the new study is published in the journal “Fuel Processing Technology”. 25476
