EMPLOYEES OF THE INSTITUTE OF GEOGRAPHY PARTICIPATE IN THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “MODERN CHALLENGES OF CHEMISTRY”
The 1st International Conference entitled “Modern Challenges of Chemistry,” dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at Ganja State University. Employees of the Institute of Geography also participated in the conference.
The main purpose of the conference was to discuss current issues in modern chemical science, identify innovative research directions, and expand scientific cooperation between local and foreign scientists. Scientists, researchers, representatives of higher education institutions, and young specialists from various countries took part in the event.
Speakers at the opening ceremony emphasized Heydar Aliyev’s attention and support for science, education, and especially the development of the chemical industry. It was noted that the formation of the country’s chemical industry development strategy and the strengthening of scientific potential in this field are closely associated with the name of the National Leader.
Within the framework of the event, presentations were delivered on topics such as green chemistry, environmental safety, nanomaterials, industrial chemistry, alternative energy sources, and innovative technologies. During the panel discussions, participants exchanged extensive views on the challenges facing modern chemical science and possible solutions to these issues.
The conference participants highlighted that such international events are of great importance in strengthening the exchange of scientific knowledge and experience, integrating young scientists into the international scientific community, and establishing new platforms for cooperation.
